Hi,
I haven't been on dA for a looooong time, so I just wanted to make a quick update for anyone who's still watching me :)
I was recently accepted into Rhode Island School of Design's (RISD) Class of 2019, and will be attending in the fall.
For those of you who don't know about RISD/live outside of the US, RISD is one of the top art schools in the US and in the world. I don't know how I managed to get my parents to agree, but I couldn't be more excited to study art at such an incredible institution!!!

Just wanted to inform anyone who's interested :)

Been a long time

Hi all of my remaining watchers,
It's been a long time since i've even been on dA, and i apologize to any friends of mine who were wondering where I've been. school has made me very busy this year, but of course i have not stopped doing artwork, just rather experimented with it to try and find something that i really like doing. so i came on here tonight and realized i lost almost 100 watchers in the months that i have been gone.... that was almost half of what i had originally. so, i will try to be on here more often, and will continue updating my gallery and all.

Hi everyone,
Well, last time I wrote a journal entry where I excitedly wrote about my very first publications of three of my drawings. Well, those three drawings were published AGAIN, but in two different magazines: Cicada magazine, and the Canadian literary magazine, The Claremont Review!!!!! I actually received $20 in American cash from the Claremont Review, so I was quite happy about that. I was informed about this a long time ago, but didn't want to write it in a journal until I actually received copies of the two magazines in the mail, which I got this week. So this next achievement has gotten me so excited about getting published that now I'm going to try and move on from children's magazines and on to real art magazines, if I can. And from there, I just hope that I can move even further onward, given that I'm not a professional and that I haven't even graduated high school. Thanks to anyone who's reading!!!!

My First Publication!!!!

Hello,

First of all, thank you everyone who wished me a happy birthday yesterday. Unfortunately, it wasn't a birthday I would consider "happy" (I spent many tiring hours practicing my pole vaulting, which is something new that I've gotten into through my school track team), but the day before it was pretty fun; that was the day my family and I actually celebrated. :) I'd also like to give a shout out to :iconsweetmarly: who gave me a wonderful birthday present, 3 month premium membership!!!! (Thank you so much Marly, it means so much!) Also, there was another birthday gift I received, 500 points from a friend of mine, :iconhai-kage:!!!!!

Second, I'd like to share with you that my artwork was published for the first time, in Amazing Kids! Online Magazine!!!!!!

These were the three drawings that were published. Hopefully I can get some more of my drawings to be published in the future in other magazines as well! I've already submitted a drawing to Cicada Magazine and to The Claremont Review for consideration, so I'll write another journal entry if they're accepted. I'm very pleased with my first publication and am celebrating my latest major step towards sharing my art with the world.
