I'm icee-bleu and I'm a 17 year old aspiring artist in 11th grade . I love to work in graphite, charcoal, and pen/ink, and want to continue to draw in order to improve my skills. I'm also a fairly proficient watercolor painter, though I am not as skillful at painting as I am at drawing. As a high schooler, I'm still unsure of where I want to go in life/what I want to do with regards to art. I don't plan on becoming a full time professional artist right after college; I want to do art on the side as a hobby or a secondary career until I become well known enough to make a living off of it. For now though, art is still one of my biggest priorities, and I hope to keep it that way throughout my entire life.
As for what I draw, I am still trying to discover what I like best. At the moment, I'm really getting into large scale charcoal drawings, surrealism, and expression; but, I'm having a really hard time discovering who I am as an artist. My favorite subject matter includes portraits and figures, but I'm not limited to just drawing people. I think it's a good thing that I'm not completely sure where my art is going at this age; however, I do know that I want to be original and unique when I do discover my artistic self. I want to be able to remembered for something that was different from what everyone else is drawing. Help me out by giving me a watch and maybe a few favorites!
Art may be what I like to do the most, but I also have other hobbies, including:
downhill skiing, running (both cross country and short distance sprinting), pole vaulting, swimming (non-competitively), photography, and surfing.
